 Sister Agnes, the leader and founder of Sommer Haven International, has devoted the last 43 years of her life to fulfilling the vision God has given her to reach out to the poor throughout the nations of the world.
Agnes has always had a heart to help those in need. As God began sending more and more people to her door, local markets and farmers began to contribute food. It was out of meeting the needs of others that Sommer Haven grew to what it is today: an international organization with distribution and training programs touching hurting lives in a desperate world.
